How to decide what the hell I would like to do with the rest of my life by nnniiiccckkk

"i was stuck in a rut, felt a bit lost, i think im found now"

How I did it: i coulnt figure out what i wanted to do with my life, home didnt have alot to offer me anymore, but leaving home was scary because im so close to maily and friends, in the end i realised that everyone moves on and does their own things, so im moving to australia and im really excited about the oppurtunities that await me.

Lessons & tips: just do it for yourself, think about what you really want and dont factor anyone else into it, in the end you are the only person who is in your life forever.

mr_tim is figuring out what to do with life!

4 weeks to make that kind of decision!? I am hoping to do a similar thing but I am going to wait until it is in line with the Australian academic calendar

4 weeks to do something about it really, its something ive thought abotu ym entire adult life. ive done all my studying so i dont need to worry about what time of year i go, goodluck with whatever you do.

Any change in life can be scary or stressful, Nick, no matter how small it it. Yours is huge. have a definite plan in mind when you go. Contact the Australian authorities to find out how to live there and what is expected of you.
Look at opportunities there. remember also, you will be an outsider there, so be careful.

yeap sure am! been here since 22nd october got a car got a job got a flat, booked in a tattoo for 21st this month and dreadlocks on the 24th so yea i guess things are really working out, im actually doing the things ive always wanted to do, its cool :) i do still feel an urge to go home, but hopefully that will go away after i make some friends, so far the only people i know are guys from work and 2 old mates from back home that moved over here as well, so i would like to meet some new people, just gotta figure out how, any suggestions?
