How to take the GRE
How I did it: Standardized tests are kind of my thing. (I'm NOT proud.) I left with a score I was happy with, but I did start preparing about a month before - I think things would have turned out very differently had I gone into it cold. Incidentally, still waiting for a score for the writing section, so maybe I speak too soon...
Lessons & tips: Okay, the "Hit Parade" of frequently tested vocabulary words that the Princeton Review prep book provides is scarily accurate. It's not that long of a list (I mean, given how many words in the English language there are to potentially know). But I was absolutely floored by how many questions contained words I knew from the list. Lame. But it works.
