How to get off meds
How I did it: Started taking less and less meds everyday for about 2 weeks. I had slight withdrawals and "bad spots" but in the end, it was worth it. It's been over 3 1/2 weeks now without my meds and I'll NEVER go back!
Lessons & tips: Have faith in yourself that you can be happy again without the use of a controlled substance. Sometimes this takes time, and the main thing is to have patience and a feeling of control. YOU CAN control your happiness without feeling useless.. You just have to believe in yourself. =]
Resources: Being around a constant flow of good people, weather it's family, friends, or even your dog or cat! It really helps to have support also. You can find this online most times as well.
