How I did it: I work part-time as an assistant in the biology lab(s) at my university. I'm still in school, and not even a natural science-major (though I do LOVE science very much...maybe this will inspire a change of majors? lol).
I'm a psychology major, so this is just a gig for while I'm here in school, but it is sooo much better than any other job I've ever had (fast food and retail). I love not having to deal with angry customers, wearing whatever I want, and the flexible scheduling. :) All I could ask for in a job right now! haha.
