How to learn to say hello in 25 languages
How I did it: First, i downloaded a little app for the ipod called "Eurotalk". It's free and when you press the word, you hear someone that comes from that country saying it.
Next, i chose my words and i learnt them. It gets difficult to choose the last 5/10 but its worth it.
This is my finished list:
Hello - English
Hola - Spanish
Bonjour - French
Ni Hao - Mandarin
Konichiwa - Japenese
Salve - Latin
Aloha - Hawaiian
Hallo - Dutch
Zivijo - Slovenian
Bok - Crotatian
Ahoj - Czech
Hej - Danish
Hei - Finnish
Shalom - Hebrew
Hou - Cornish
Sveiki - Latvian
Hoi - Frisian
Yeia - Greek
Ola - Portuguese
BunĂ£ - Romanian
Merhaba - Turkish
Ciao - Italian
Gudentag - German
Han yong - Korean
Stravo - Serbian
Hope that helps :)
Lessons & tips: Find a service that says the words. It's no use reading them because they often have a certain way of say them.
Learn them as much as you can. It took me three days to finally learn how to pronounce Zivijo (Gee-Vee-Oh) correctly
