How I did it: I'm actually still learning German. I started in Brazil, where I made the basic level in a community school. Then, with the proximity of the travel to Germany, I started to have lessons with a private teacher two days a week.

I've been in Germany since December last year. From December until March, I was at Goethe Institut in Mannheim, where I made two intensive courses. It was pretty worth. Now I'm studying in Ulm and improving my German living with german students and at the University.

It is a hard language to learn, but don't give up!!! When you realize that you can express yourself and you are actually receiving compliments from germans, you will feel so proud of yourself and feel great. :-D

Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid about mistakes. They happen, but it's no big deal! The important is to notice when and why, and then try to correct.
