How I did it: Simple, money and a stubborn attitude. I always wanted to visit the USA and in particular to attend the furry convention Anthrocon. So when I got a better paid job and realised" "holly shit, I could do this" I set myself a definate target and just did it.
Lessons & tips: Take freinds, it's that much better and always take more money then you think you will need!
