How I did it: Buying a motorcycle, in retrospect, was the easiest part of the the equation. Convincing all my loved ones that I wasn't going to kill myself and that bikes are dangerous but I bought all the necessary safety equipment and I swear i won't speed except on the freeway after we have a blue and i need to get it out of my system and yes i bought it dirt cheap because i totally anticipated spending 3 g's just fixing up the gearbox and i need to sell the first bike now to fix the other one...

Lessons & tips: Buy a piece of shit first bike that doesn't go fast. You will crash it ( 3 times in one year ) and if you are crashing a slow POS bike it doesn't hurt as much (physically and financially)
