How to go horseback riding
How I did it: So I've been wanting to go horse back riding for FOREVER. But trail rides are so expensive and far away from my house and lessons are even more expensive. My mom won a free lesson at our dance studio's cast party. One half hour lesson (normally $35, shit).
So I went and they had no idea that I was coming even though I'd been told to come at that time on that day. So I was a bit peeved. While the riding was fun (and it made me want my own horse even more), the horse looked kind of miserable... Like "fuck my life I do not want to do this again today, I was supposed to be done." :( So that took down my enjoyment a little bit. I should have brought him a carrot as a treat!
I don't think I'll ever go back there to ride or take lessons (definitely would not board my horse there). But it got riding out a my system for a few hours at least. ;) But free = awesome, and it was fun. So totally worth it!
