"I needed to add this task to my 43Things, then I was on my way to doing it."
How I did it: I modified my massage therapy resume to focus on my new career goal: a job as an esthetician. I highlighted my new training, seminars, conferences, etc. The resume is saved as a .pdf document making it easy to e-mail to prospective employers. Now I need to get working on a cover letter that I can adapt to the various positions available.
Lessons & tips: You can get software to convert Word docs to .pdf for about $40 (I don't remember), but that way you can ensure that your resume will look the way you want it to when e-mailed to an employer. You never know what kind of software/hardware that they may have.
