How to move to the desert

"Glad I did it, and now I appreciate lush areas SO much more than I ever did."
How I did it: Got a truck and a camper and drove. West.
Got a piece of land.
That's how I did it! We eventually bought a house out here too.
Lessons & tips: You may only want this as an experience, or live in the desert part-time. I definitely miss lush, wet areas, but I did need to have this experience to get it out of my system. I like to be here in the dry desert, but I miss water a lot. It has made me appreciate the lush areas that I came from when before, the humidity made me so mad.
