How to learn math
How I did it: I paid attention in classes, asked questions of the teachers/ profs, did my homework and worked with others to help.
The big part, though, is attitude - if you think you can't, you're right. However, if you think you CAN, you're right.
You deal with math all the time, every single day. You deal with telling time, using money, picking up groceries, driving places, estimating distances. Scheduling your day, reading a map, giving directions. All of this is math, if you can just approach it the right way.
Lessons & tips: ~Ask for help when you start getting behind, and be specific!
~Don't say " I don't get it" , say "I don't understand what I'm supposed to do when I see *this*" and other exact problems.
~Do your homework - and if you're stuck, write down WHY in the spot.
~Do what you can, regardless. If you can't understand how to use SOHCAHTOA, at least draw the right triangle and label it.
