How I did it: I did a work-study month at Esalen, which helped a lot! There are loads of food choices, though, and I still had the opportunity to make less-than-healthy choices, but I remembered that I wanted to feel good and look better, and it really helped!
After two weeks, I started to see changes in my body (slimmer) and energy level (higher), and that provided further motivation.
I haven't been perfect in the week since I returned: I've had two fast food meals. But before I left, I was having fast food daily, so I'm pleased with my progress!
