How to start a business
How I did it: It took me a while to actually get this done. I had been thinking about starting my own business to help launch other folks' businesses. I finally did it.
1) I decided what type of business I wanted.
2) I looked through the dictionary and brainstormed about a possible name that I felt was versatile enough to use.
3) I contacted the Company Corporation, paid $325 and got my LLC.
4) I applied for my business license online.
5) I hired a freelancer to do my logo and business cards.
6) I researched the web and found out that I could set up my own website with wordpress and a versatile template from graphpaperpress.com.
I set up my website and got two clients. You can be number three: www.residuemarketing.com.
Lessons & tips: Stay focused and encouraged. Don't underestimate your ability to do things on your own, but don't feel like you can never ask for help.
