How I did it:

• I thought about it
  
• Talked to numerous individuals that were RPCVs
  
• Ensure that my background was suitable for what Peace Corps was looking for.
  
• Filled the application form and made numerous corrections.
  
• Waited and in the process learned to be very patient.
  
• Left for Lesotho
  
• Completed Pre-service training
  
• Now I’m a volunteer!

Lessons & tips: It takes time, but never doubt yourself. If you want it to happen, it will happen!
