How I did it:

• I researched the type of degree I wanted to obtained
  
• Research Schools that would be a good fit for me
  
• Emailed Schools to see if I could defer my start date
  
• Took the GRE's, wrote my essays, obtained my references and completed my application.
  
• Spoke to a few friends already in grad school and we decided that I would apply to only one School, the school of my choice
  
• Sent Application, was accepted, I deferred and now I'll enter in the fall of 2011.
  
• Task done!

Lessons & tips: Make sure you know what you want to study. Most Graduate School are very expensive.
