How I did it: Took lessons then took the test - twice and only then I started to learn what driving is really all about. Now I am facing my son getting his licence. Being a young driver is such a dangerous challenge which you only appreciate after the fact. I heard sommeone say you don't become a good driver until you get a fright - and yoou need to survive that fright!
Lessons & tips: Take lessons and practice in all condition and for God's sake get a shift/manual licence.
