How to clean my car
How I did it: I got my car from my grandmother. I couldn't drive it for a year cause I couldn't have my license. Not only did my grndmother totally trash this car, so did my dad by spilling sunflower seeds, soda, and trash. The carpet was covered in stains, the ceiling stained, the exterior was dirty and there was grime in the nooks and crannies of the car. I tried cleaning it when I first got it a year ago but I got too overwhelmed. Yesturday I had had enough and I cleaned all the nooks and crannies in the car. Today I washed the car, took out all of the trash, vaccumed the seats and floor, shampooed the floor, and sprayed lots of fabreeze. It is sooo clean now! Almost like new! And it smells great now!
Lessons & tips: -If it's a HUGE job like mine, split the to do list into different days. You'll be less overwhelmed.
-Use a spot remover on tough stains before you shampoo the floor.
-Drink lots of water! You'll get dehydrated pretty quickly.
-If you can't take out the front seats of the car to clean the carpet, move the seats back as far as possible to clean the floor in front of the seat and then move the seat as far forward as possible to clean the floor in front of the backseat and under the frontseat.
-Don't try to shampoo/clean the cieling of the car! You'll just mess it up
-If you're shampooing your carpet with an at home carpet cleaner like me, put some lemon juice in the hot water. Your car will start to smell amazing!
Resources: -fabreeze
-lemon juice (mixing in with the hot water to shampoo the car)
