How to learn to surf
It made me
wet and happy! 
"when you catch your first big(ish) wave it is a fantastic feeling."
How I did it: Got a wetsuit, hired a board and got battered by lots of waves before working out what to do. Trial and error is the best way.
Have a play in the white wash for a while before you go out into the big stuff -its a lot more fun standing up in that than getting battered by the waves and never getting on your board.
