How to buy a dslr
"wait, buy, shoot"
How I did it: First I looked on dpreview to check out all the entry level models. Nikon D60, Pentax Km, Canon 1000D or Sony a300. I wanted live view so only the canon and the sony were considered. I chose the sony since it has built-in stabilization. Then I looked for the cheapest store.
Lessons & tips:
- Look on DPreview for lots of information
- Read some books about basic photography so you will know what you want/need
- Lens quality is more important than body quality
- Wait long enough untill price drops down
