How I did it: I always knew i had to get out of sales sooner or later. The ideal opportunity came in disguise, during recession when my company closed down our division. I knew I didnt want to look for another job in another company. I tried several options to start a business but nothing materialised. at the same time my brother was looking to start his own headhunting/ recruitment consultancy firm. I immediately offered my expertise in business development. its been 5 mths into this firm and touch wood, its going great guns for the both of us.
