How to get more sleep
How I did it: i switched to a new shift at work and had to adjust my body clock drastically! Working nights is definitely NOT the greatest, although in my personal situation, i have my reasons why I'd rather work at night than during the day. When i first started the shift, i really had to train my body to go to sleep even when i wasn't sleepy. if i didn't have enough sleep, i was miserable at work and so i knew i HAD to get my sleep or else i'd suffer. Nowadays, i almost always get at least 7 hours of sleep and it has definitely contributed to not just a more alert person at work, but a HAPPIER ME overall.
Lessons & tips: make sure you eat something before you sleep so you aren't awakened because you are hungry. LOL
