How to save money to buy a house

How I did it: My husband and I forced ourselves to save at least 1 million a month and we can do that. It was hard for the first time, but, then , , , we tried to recalculate monthly expenses and classify them based on the level of necessity. We did omit some of the expenses, it helps us a lot to save more money.
Lessons & tips: I must be a little more frugal.
