How to write every day by saradreamer

How I did it: I'm marking this goal as completed, because I recently have taken up journaling, a long-discarded hobby of mine. I decided to keep a journal again solely for the sake of preserving memories that aren't coupled with a photo, or to enhance the ones that are. I fear forgetting. It's a great way to get perspective on your life too, as it not only chronicles events, but is a catalyst and leads me to recording my thoughts about those events.
DO NOT LET WORDS GET IN THE WAY OF WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO SAY.
i have to repeat that mantra to myself, as i tend to get very long-winded when i sit down  and write, as it so happens now.     : )
Long story short, write! Even if it's just one sentence here or there on discarded bits of paper-I have a whole box of those, and one day plan on compiling them into something less ramshackled.

you’ll never guess where i heard it. some B western starring Willie Nelson. I think it was called “Where The Hell’s That Gold?!!?”

obscure, right? : )

but yeah, it’s a great quote. it’s one of those instances where you’ve had a vague idea in your mind but never knew how to translate it into something simple and concise. Sometimes I don’t know what it is I’m trying to say until someone lays it out for me.
