How to read "crime and punishment"

How I did it: It took me a while - it's a complicated book with some lengthy philosophical diatribes but the murder scene is some of the most gripping fiction I've read and the dialogues between Raskolnikov and Porfiry Petrovich the inspector is nerve-wracking. Definitely recommended but be prepared to give it time and to wade through some difficult ideas.
