How I did it: I knew what job I wanted but it wasn't available at the time. So instead of giving up, I got another job in the same company. I worked hard, put in long hours to ensure the job is done, tried to show people that I have the skills, expertise, knowledge, passion and integrity to do the job I wanted. When the job finally became available, I went for it, and guess what - I've got it!
It is hard work, since I have to do 2 people's job, but I know I can do it. I love my company, my colleagues and my boss. It is the best job in the world :)
