How I did it: i LISTENED in class. in my experience that is the first and most important thing to do if you want to pass and you have a vaguely good memory then just pay attention! homework, essays, etc. are all good bonuses if you have the time and inclination, but at the end of the day if you don't listen in class then you'll miss out on a lot of information which will put you behind for next lesson, which will make doing homework difficult, and it just turns into a big horrible cycle.
i paid attention as much as i could, did a reasonable amount of homework and essays but i'll admit i definitely didn't do everything i was set... and i came out with 3 As and a B :) happy times.
