How to read all the Harry Potter books
How I did it: I started reading the books after I saw the fourth film (HP & Goblet of Fire). Now mind you I am in my mid twenties and before I saw the fourth movie I wasn't even considering reading this series(though I did watch all movies and agree that they were very good). But then I saw that things started getting more interesting and violent. I decided to pick up the first book and check what the whole fuss was about (made sure not to tell any of my friends that im reading a HP book).
30 pages into the book I was hooked. I couldn't put it down (and that was before people started dropping like flies).
Last night around 4 a.m. I finished the Deathly Hallows. It was a very mixed filling that I had. I was happy that the books lived up to my high expectations and that everything finally made sense, yet somehow sad because it was over.
Everyone who read this series more that once says that you appreciate it much more the second time around. Then I guess it is not really over, and in a year or so when I decide to reread this great piece of literature, that will definitely take its rightful place among other timeless classics, I will get to once more experience all the excitement and joy I did the first time.
Lessons & tips: Read it, you will not be disappointed.
The books cover many themes such as death, love, prejudice, power of friendship, overcoming impossible odds and many more.
