That looks great. You make it sound easy, but I’m sure I’d end up in the ER with a needle through my hand and reflective tape rash.

How I did it: I found an awesome pattern on the interwebs. And thought I was up for the challenge! And what the heck? Why not make it out of thick rubber.
My sewing machine was not up for this material, so I made this bugger entirely by hand.
The details are reflective tape (which is just AWESOME under clublights!) that was easily attached to the rubber.
NOTE: Before this I only made hats and mittens, so you don't need to be an expert to do this!
Lessons & tips:
- MEISURE TWICE, CUT ONCE! Seriously, you'd better make a test-version in cardboard/scrap fabric. After making a test-version I found out I still needed to make lots of adjustments!
- Make sure the eyelets you use are made out of two seperate pieces that fit into eachother (not the kind that folds at the back, these will rip out).
- If you also plan on using a sturdy material, use leatherpoint needles (be it for handwork or sewing machine).
