How to make Little Dresses for Africa
How I did it: Today I hosted a dress making party at my house and invited my mother and mother-in-law and some friends to join me.
We each sewed one pillowcase dress which I will be sending to Morgan Hill Foursquare church (near San Jose). They were making a bunch of these dresses with their VBS program and I wanted to contribute.
I would have been able to do more if we had another sewing machine...and if we had better seamstresses at our disposal >.< lol
Although, I think I did pretty good for my first experience with a sewing machine.
Lessons & tips: Make sure you have ALL the supplies you'll need, and make sure you have someone who knows how to sew!!! (very important)
