How to read at least one book a month
How I did it: My theme for 2008 was self improvement (mind, body, & spirit). One way I thought of improving my mind was by reading at least one book a month for a whole year. I started in January but things always came up and I was unable to read. So I started again in July 2008 . This time I did my best to stick to the goal. I would set aside some time either in the morning or before bedtime to do some reading. I would also use my lunch break at times to read books. Sometimes the book I'm reading is so interesting that I would end up finishing it in one sitting.
One thing that I did too was not waste my time on a book that did not interest me. When reading a book and I'm completely bored with just the first few pages or chapter, I did not bother finishing it, I usually just moved on to the next book.
Here's my book reading list from July 2008 to July 2009
July 2008
July- “Tuesdays with Morrie”,
“You Suck”, “Killer Knots”, “Middlesex”. (I read a lot of books for
this month to make up for the missed months for 2008)

September- “Watchmen”
October- “Tipping Point”
November- “The Last Lecture”
