Tarrador is going to change the energy, somehow
The best part...
is when you say “I have been wanting… and I did not hesitate”! Kudos to you.
How I did it: While camping at Dutch Hollow last weekend, some of our menfolk came across a flier for kayak rentals.
I have been wanting to go kayaking for the last year or so, and did not hesitate to call and set up an appointment for the following day.
The outfitters we called shuttled two kayaks down to the lake for us and gave us about five hours to enjoy ourselves.
We rotated in and out of the kayaks and everyone had a good time, even my brother Eric (in the picture with me) who tipped himself over at one point.
And although kayaking around the lake for a few hours didn't make me as sore as I had anticipated, it did make me somewhat sore, so I know I got a decent work out in addition to having fun.
Lessons & tips: If you don't know how to swim well, wear a life jacket. Even if you do know how, you may still want to wear a life jacket.
Wear sunscreen!
Have fun!
Resources: The outfitting company who's name escapes me. They are based out of Wonewoc, WI.
Being able to swim.
