How I did it: Well with the right connections, which I found through word of mouth, I sold my artwork design to a t-shirt company. I submitted about 5 different designs and they bought one from me for $300. No royalties, but hey it was totally worth it. It was the #1 seller on the website for about a week. I have never went to art school, I took art in highschool but have had no additional training. So don't think you can't do it, it is possible. I had a very good mentor that encouraged me since I was young to keep me doing art even when I felt I was not going anywhere with it. I am glad I stuck through and did it. I have not sold a piece since than, but just the one time was a wonderful life experience. I hope I have helped encourage you to follow your dreams and NEVER EVER GIVE UP! We were meant to live for so much more. :)
