"Reading is Sexy"

How I did it: I got laid off and stopped being a couch potato. But even if I wasn't laid off, I would have been able to do complete this. To challenge myself I also joined a book circle where we choose a book for the month and write a review about it via online forum. Most of the books I read were things that I had on my shelf that I've been wanting to read for a long time.


My original goal was to read 10 books within one year and I finished 10 books in 8 months! I still plan on reading at my leisure. I'm amazed that I finished my goal with four months to spare! 

Lessons & tips: There's surprisingly a lot of time in the day to for reading if you cut down your internet time. 


I like reading a chapter before bedtime. 

Switch it up! Sometimes I grow tired of a subject matter so I never read the same book genre in a row.
