How I did it: Photos
flew from West Palm Beach, FL to Reagan National. DO NOT FLY THROUGH ATL. Stayed with a friend in her GW dorm. Cabs are expensive...save your money till the end of the day when you are dead tired of walking.
Lessons & tips: Do research and prioritize what you would like to see in the span of time that you have there! I am sorry that I was not there at a time when Congress was in session. My favorite sights were the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, and eating at Zed's Ethiopian in Georgetown. If you go to Georgia Browns for brunch, make sure you leave the WHOLE morning open for it!
