How to meet goal on Weight Watchers
"Weight Watchers gave me the support and accountability I needed to reach my goal."
How I did it: After thinking about it for a while, I finally took the plunge and signed up for Weight Watchers Unlimited and started going to meetings.
In the past, I had had a few semi-successful attempts at losing weight, but I would always get a bit complacent after losing 3-4kg and before I knew it the weight would be back on. Once I signed up for Weight Watchers, there was no more hiding the truth: I would go every week and face the scales - any time there was a less-than-stellar result it would be a reminder to get back on the wagon and pay attention to my food and exercise. The meetings meant that there was always an opportunity to talk over any issues I might be facing.
Lessons & tips: Don't give up if you're struggling at any point! Talk to your leader or check out the online message boards for advice and support.
As corny as it might sound, Weight Watchers is not really a diet, but a lifestyle change. No food is forbidden, you just need to be aware of your eating and exercise.
