How to buy a cat by ADejectedButterfly

"She is so loverly, and she just seems to make my home complete"

How I did it: First I decided how old I wanted it to be, I decided i didn't want a kitten (i'd have to train it and everything, and to be honest I probably don't have the patience to do that).
I then went to my local animal shelter and looked around, I went back three times before I decided.
I then ended up with a loverly cat, 12 months (guess) named, Feather (Shelter already named her).

Lessons & tips:

  • keep an open mind, choose a cat by its personality, not how it looks.
  • Only get a kitten if you have the time and patience to train it.
