How I did it: I just started to focus on asking people questions- at first I used a list of questions to ask people, and I forced myself not to speak until they there over. Usually one of the questions would make the people want to talk about something else- and so a conversation was started where my main job was to listen. After some time I could get rid of my question-list and just start to ask questions and see where they led me. Now I can have a conversation with almost anybody and listen to them- if you ask the right question everyone's got a very interesting story to tell you, and listening to interesting stories is something that takes no effort at all. After a while you'll find that you can even listen to boring, long stories without actually getting desperate, since you always know there might be something interesting just around the corner.

Lessons & tips: Ask questions and try to make people about something they want to speak about- the past is always an interesting topic.
