How to watch the movie "CRASH"
"It was a big wake-up call to the fact that America still has a lot of work to do in removing the racism and prejudice still prevalent in society."
How I did it: I was attending a youth-organized Anti-Racism convention, which was followed by a social action rally, and one of the main events was a showing of this movie. Pretty much, we were all smushed together in a room to watch the movie, and sharing the experience with good friends, both new and old, helped reinforce all the emotional content this movie provided.
Lessons & tips: Pick an uneventful evening, and watch it with a close friend or relative. Personally, I think the movie's better when you're not viewing it solo.
