How to practice random acts of kindness
How I did it: ...and my daughter 8-yr-old daughter is learning by example and frequently does nice things for the other kids in her class. Since it's become a subconscious action, I'm going to say I've accomplished the LEARNING of this as a habit, and move on to another goal.
Lessons & tips: Don't be embarrassed to reach out to people you don't know. Don't be embarrassed or shy to ask people if they need help, when they look like it. Do things even though you're sure no one will ever know you did it. This can be as simple as leaning down to pick up a piece of garbage that other people are walking past. Consider that every little thing you do for someone or for the world around you, is like spreading light, and fighting against all the bad things that exist in the world. One little teeny thing is all it takes, and every little teeny thing counts.
