How to studio piano at school for jazz and contemporary music
How I did it: I found this private school in Amsterdam where you can study jazz and contemporary music and it doesn't matter which level you're on! After 1 year I decided to audition for the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I almost got accepted to prep school there but turned out to be to old for the class as everybody there is around 18 years old. Preperation for the audition was very heavy butI'm glad I experienced it! Now I can also scrap that of my list of this I've always wanted to do.
I will not continue the jazz school in Amsterdam since I moved to The Hague 6 months ago, but I gained so much knowledge and will continue the music quest for the rest of my life!

Lessons & tips: If you wanna be a better musician it's always good to dig into theory for a while! This may sound boring to some, but can really help you understand and play better. It always sounded boring to me too........but once I got into it I sometimes could not stop, because it gives you so much different way to think of music and play. A good tip is to let a teacher help you....because on your own it might be a little bit of a hassle!
Good Luck!
