How to memorize all my English essays

How I did it: I just sat down, determined, and starting memorizing them like a speech. Rewriting essays don't help me, personally. So I would read through the entire essay, then memorize little sections. I found that re-reading doesn't really help, so I forced myself to look away from the page and repeat what I'd just read.
Lessons & tips:
- Read, read, recite
- If everything is written in your own words, you'll be able to remember the essay a lot easier
- It helps if you have a visual memory, like me, then you can visualize the words (how they were written, where on the page...)
