How to move out
"I was too much used to living on my own when I moved back home from college so it was time to move out. It took me a while because I liked not having many bills!"
How I did it: My mom is actually a realtor. She works with a lady that buys properties and rents them out. Mom got us introduced and I took a shot in the dark as to whether or not I could afford it. My landlady gave me MUCH flexibility as to terms of living where I am such as: no lease (just 30 days notice before I move out), I'm allowed to have my dog (usually doesn't allow it), cuts my grass, and no security deposit.
Sweet deal!
Lessons & tips: Look in the papers and shop around. Don't get antsy because the apartment's awesome. There's more to come! New things are going up for rent/sale every day!
Resources: Mom!
