How to take a carriage ride around Central Park
How I did it: We spent Christmas in New York City. We weren't sure what would be open on Christmas Day, so we decided to leave Central Park until then. It wasn't just this that made the day magical...it was all of the other stuff too!
First we stumbled on the Christmas Train Show at Grand Central Station and a carol service. Then we passed the Christmas Market at Bryant Park and drank hot apple cider and watched the ice skaters!
THEN we went to Central Park! Apparantly Christmas Day is not a good day for a carriage ride! Everybody had the same idea as us! There was a big messy queue waiting for a ride. There was no order or anything...the guys just seemed to choose somebody they liked the look of and point to them and then they would get in...regardless of the people that had been waiting! So ladies...prepare youselves to flirt, hehe!
The carriages go around the park rather than through it, but you have to do this when you are at Central Park right? To be honest you probably get a better view by foot! They guys were good though and very informative! Totally made my Christmas Day even more magical!!
Lessons & tips:
- Avoid going on Christmas Day
- Flirt with the guys ladies...it's the only way you will get a ride quick. Guys...I'm afraid you have a long wait unless you find a gay guy to flirt with!
