How to get my driver's license
How I did it: Ruminated on it for ages, then enrolled to a driving school and passed the final test for my initial license one month later. I failed the final test once, but when I showed the route to my driving teacher he thought he had never seen a test so difficult before. It was mainly downtown slalom with a lot of unique crossroads. The second test I got (with the same examiner, a week later) was so easy I couldn't believe it when we were done.
Lessons & tips: Keep your eyes sharp when sitting in a car as someone else drives. Memorize all the traffic signs you can and the most basic traffic rules, so that you don't have to waste time on them in the paid lessons of a driving school.
Resources: They gave us a booklet for starting drivers that had all the necessary info. Also we had to pass a randomized Internet test several times, where we were asked questions about traffic signs and about specific situations in traffic. I did the test at least a dozen times more than what was asked, since it was a nice study.
