How to complete a triathlon
How I did it: I registered for a race, bought my USAT membership, updated a bit of gear (i didn't go nuts, just got a new pair of running shoes, race belt, and some new clothes to get energized, didn't get a new bike or crap like that), and found a good training program, I stuck to it for the most part until August 2nd, the day of my race, that day though Philly for 4.5in of rain DURING my race and it was canceled half way through, today was my second attempt and was sucesful! One foot in front of the other.
Lessons & tips: Just keep going, even when you want to die, I wasn't 'swimming' really by the end, more fighting the water in an on-my-bike-doggie-padel swim stroke, it was ugly, inefficient and fairly painful now, but it got me to T1 and I could handle the rest. Again, all painful, but I finished.
