How I did it: I try to keep three to five books in queue, so I have a few choices to pick up on as soon as I've finished one book. Sometimes I finish a book in a few days,sometimes I leisurely tread through it in a couple of weeks. There's not a right answer to 'how long should it take me to read this book?' I just relaxed and read at my own pace. We lead busy lives--no need to stress about your free time!

Lessons & tips:

• Find time for yourself--read a little every day, even if it's only a page or two. Just crack the book
• Ask friends for book suggestions. It's a great way to include your friends in your hobby, and give you great ideas too!
• Talk to people about the books you're enjoying. You never know when someone else might be interested in similar material.
• Cycle through reading levels and novel lengths. You don't always have to read the heavy stuff--but don't always stick to light reading either, or you'll get bored. Mix it up a bit.
