"We have a great new car and the old beast is going to be auctioned for charity or sold for parts."
How I did it: Once we secured a new (to us) vehicle, thanks to an awesome deal from a friend and a loan from my mom, we had 2 offers from acquaintances to buy the Beast. Neither came thru so it was back to plan A, donating it to charity.
