How to get my lip pierced

How I did it: my bf came into some extra cash and knew i'd been wanting to get my lip pierced for a few months. he offered to pay, so i said "let's do it!!" he held my hand through the whole thing, and drove home because i nearly fainted lol, the result of the following conversation-
piercer: "are you ready?"
me: "just tell me it doesn't hurt and i'll be ok."
piercer: "oh, but then i'd be lying to you..."
(just an fyi it only hurts for the second it takes the needle to go through)
