How to be more physically active
"Not always easy, but definitely worth it."
How I did it: Just to get up and do it. Worked with an Occupational Therapist to help me set the goals and keep me motivated to accomplish them. Starting off small and building...it's unrealistic to be able to walk an hour if you don't typically even get up from in front of the computer most days. Start with 5-10 minutes 3 days a week and build from there.
Lessons & tips: Set out some small goals to start....even if it's just 5-10 minutes 2 or 3 times a week to start that's better then not doing it at all.
Resources: Having an Occupational Therapist definitely helped me with this. Together we came up with different goals and because I had someone to be accountable to it helped keep me motivated.
